Voth House is a house designed in Denver Highlands for a couple of retired high-profile lawyers. The clients value quality and durability and rejected opulence and extravagance. From a rectangular form, the house was designed to have separation between public and private spaces, but also have a centralized space where the large family can congregate. The floor plan is split in the middle by the circulation of the design to create a separation of public and private spaces. Poche Space was diligently designed and implemented to create the conditions of domestic space, as inspired from a case study of Rick Joy’s Woodstock Farmhouse.
